A Spark of Connection🌱
Just yesterday, our FKL App —much like Victor Frankenstein in his secluded lab— felt that electric spark of creation! With intention and care and guided by a clear mission: **Connect, Reflect, Impact**, we’re creating a space where users can chat anonymously— safe hearts meeting safe minds.
Chapter One: Designing the Model🌼

Over the next 2–3 weeks, our designers and engineers will collaborate putting the building blocks of the app together. Similar to the De Lacey family teaching The Creature to speak—with kindness, patience, and empathy, our creators are teaching the app what it should look like and do. But the story doesn’t stop at chatting. We’ve added a **Reflect** section: a personal journaling space where users can explore their own mental health journey and practice safe and kind inner dialogue.
While Frankenstein’s creature yearned for connection and purpose, he lacked guidance—ending up lost and alone. We’ll offer prompts and gentle tools, ensuring every user feels seen and encouraged, not abandoned or isolated.
Chapter Two: Giving It a Pulse 🔧
In the Alpha Phase, FKL’s spark begins to breathe as a real app—just like Frankenstein’s creation taking its first breath. Over the following next two weeks, we will transform the idea into a Minimum Viable Product (MVP): a working version with just enough features to test and refine the core experience.

In this stage we compile the final app build, perform integration testing to ensure features work seamlessly together, and then launch acceptance testing to simulate real user conditions. We check every device, screen size, and offline scenario. Finally, we bundle it for iOS and Android stores—completing the journey from spark to launch.
Chapter Three: It's Alive! 🚀
As FKL approaches its grand opening, we will then enter the Production Phase— a time of final assembly, polish, and preparation for launch. During the final few weeks, we’ll integrate every feature, and test it thoroughly before setting it free in October. The features to polish:
🧩 Connection & Moderation: Deepening the Dialogue
Our Connect space evolves into a fully featured communication system. We integrate advanced moderation dashboards, instant reporting tools, and robust admin controls. Real-time monitoring happens alongside AI filters, ensuring every conversation is safe and supportive—like a creator who remains present and accountable, not retreating from their work. Mary Shelley, the author of Frankenstein, tells us that Victor Frankenstein “abandoned his creation". With FKL you will find the counter: we stay with our users through every encounter.
📝 Reflect: Journaling That Grows With You
The Reflect section receives deeper prompts and a smoother interface. As users revisit their journals, the experience builds on itself—like finding purpose through repeated reflection. Unlike Frankenstein’s creature, who was left to wander without guidance, our users are supported with evolving prompts and friendly UX during this crucial phase.
🗺️ Impact: Your Actions Brought to Life
This is when the Impact map comes alive. Each message sent, reflection shared, or report filed lights up a personalized map—showing users that their efforts matter in a real, visible way. Where Victor refused responsibility, here we celebrate it, giving every action weight and meaning.

Conclusion: Creation with Care🛡️
Mary Shelley’s (Author of Frankenstein) core lesson is clear: “creation demands responsibility.” FKL embodies that—from secure chats to evolving journals to a live Impact map—every feature is handled with care, attention, and ethical design. After its creation, we could never abandon it; we will continue guiding it out into the world.
By the end of October, FKL isn’t just complete—it’s live and purposeful. It supports connection, encourages mental health reflection, and celebrates positive impact. Each user action adds to something bigger, reminding us that the spark we light is more than code—it’s community. We cannot wait until the FKL app is polished, tested, and standing at the threshold of launch—ready to step into the light. Please follow along our exciting journey, this is all for you. You are IT my friend.
